Now this film is a bit ambiguous. First, they make you believe, that it’s a horror film. And don’t think that I’m putting a short film about love. Again. It’s something different. If I were director, I wouldn’t call this film love field. Anyways, check it out.

This short film is not about a girl named Ana. Not about friends. It’s not about what you think it is. At first I should say, that girls call anorexia as Ana. So now you know. I interpretive this film non – directly. I think it is about what is going on inside a girl, when she starts to starve herself.

Basically this film is about suicide. Very depressing and full of suicidal stuff. But something didn’t let me turn off the window. And when I saw the end, I thought that was for a reason. Suicide is a terrible thing, you know. But even more terrible is when you fail in trying to kill yourself. And sometimes it can be the most hilarious thing in the whole world. Description: All film is monologue. A man is talking about how his life is getting worse and worse. Talking about how much minutes left till the train comes. But what do do when it doesn’t come?

I don’t know if you all know who is skinhead. For short introductory I should add that it’s a subculture like punks, just whit totally different ideas. They believe that their country (wherever they live), is just for those, who were born there, has the same religion and skin color. Anyways, you should probably know what this short is about. It has some racial issues, but that is not the main theme.

Now this short, I know quite for a while. The idea is awesome. I absolutely love this film. It has something deeper than pictures and sounds. But that you have to figure out by yourselves. I like how idea is settled up: DJ and God. For me these two themes has nothing in common. Anyways, this film just proves that God IS a DJ. By the way, this film is a winner of over 40 film festival awards worldwide.

Have you ever been to a ghetto? There are some rules. And one of them – homosexuals are beaten. This film interested me by a theme. It’s quite old, but that doesn’t bother. The cool thing I found out about this film is that after this short was made a ‘full meter’ movie ‘On The Down Low’, which was based on this short film. Sometimes it is hard to pay attention but that was the only problem for me.
Description: Ghetto. Gang members are vandalizing a neighborhood till the cope sees them. After everybody runs to different sides, but two guys stay together. On the way home they kiss. Apparently somebody of the gang members finds out that there is homo in their group. Rules are rules and they have to kill him.

I know that as far we placed here only professional short films. Maybe directors have had bigger budget and clearer idea of the movie. But now I decided to put more dilettantes’ film. Comparing it with later films I put here it’s not that good, although I liked the idea of it. Since this film is kind of amateurish, some scenes are streched unnecessary. But who am I to judge.
Description: A story old as world itself: A guy meets a girl. They start talking and you know how usually it ends. After few weeks she has to go home and that’s how the story ends. But how to forget someone you can’t?

My job here is to find some good short films that you might be interested in, put them here and write something about them. So, as I was searching, I found one movie that is just excellent to start our video library. The director of this movie is Jonas Akerlund. I have never heard about him, but this film will shock you, I promise. Short thing to say would be that probably the best films are about our generation problems and solving them. So here we have homelessness, drugs and alcohol, love and family problems.
Short description: A homeless couple. How to make it happen? How to create a perfect future out of nothing? How to make money? How to survive?
